Selling A Product As Your Own
Selling a product as your own brand can be an effective progressive option for your business. You may see some products in the market which are almost similar or little different interms of design with different manufacturer name or brand name. But in most cases in this regard such products are manufactured by a single company. These products can be typically fitted externally with stickers or your own label so that it can be deemed as your own brand. For the box you can either redesign it and have a new one or can externally fit a label to give your company/brand name, address, phone number etc. From my personal experience for amature or a relatively new businessman can follow the following steps to get started in this endevour:
1. Looking for a manufacturer who is ready to sell fully developed product, in a semi knocked down state, assemble for you and sell or provide spare parts for your products.
2. The manufacturer should provide support and if possible train you.
3. Try get assurance of continuous product supply.
4. Do not depend on only one supplier, rather have multiple suppliers.
5. Do your own branding and promote it.
